remove rear directionals

I'm putting on a set of hard bags and having a difficult time removing the stock rear directionals. I removed the single screw and can't figure out how to remove the harness. Any suggestions

Gently twist the stalks one direction or the other (don't remember which) this will unlock them to take them out of the holes. Then under the seat between the frame and fender are the wires with bullet connectors. You may have to loosen the fender up a bit to get the wiring out. Also, find a post by another member named OldHossCanada. In his signature line is a link for a down loadable manual.
