Light bar or HID headlight conversion? I can't decide

So I've been trying to decide if I want to put a light bar on or go with the HID conversion kit. I just can't decide, but I certainly would like more light to see in front of me when it's dark.

Any thoughts or comments are welcome.

Already have a silver star bulb in, and they are cheaper at Wal-Mart by the way. Still need more light. Even with the brighter bulb, I still find myself " over driving " my head light in some spots on the way to work in the morning and other places I ride home from at night.

I was thinking about that today at work. I was thinking of getting the HID conversion kit, then get the light bar and wire them up with a toggle switch so I can turn them on and off when I need them.
