Blown Taillight Fuse

Lost my instrument lights and rear running light. Brake light still came on. The 10 amp fuse was blown and I replaced it, cranked it up and everything was working again. It's raining, or I'd go for a ride and try it out.

I've heard fuses normally don't blow unless there is an overload on the system, such as a short. Do I need to start looking for a short, or should I just ride it and not worry unless it happens again? I recently cleaned all the grounds, battery contacts, and connections and applied dielectric grease before reassembling, so I think I'm good in that department. TIA

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

sitting where they do I would think they go through a constant cycle of hot/cold/hot/cold/ect. After several years add a little vibration when they are hot and poof; unless the new one blows I wouldn't worry much about it
