Don't Let this happen to you.

So I bought a used 94 VN750 6 weeks ago. I love it! But, The guy before me did not. So I am finding little issues everywhere. Long story short, My charging system died. I tear in to the bike and find that the R/R is still in the stock position. And I have proof why you need to move it. Check out the pictures, I have them in an album on my profile.

Sorry you're having problems. Looked similar to my connection but mine wasn't as bad as yours. Check the frame out below the battery to be sure you don't have major corrosion there. Probably need to do some touch up painting there.

Another good reason to switch to a MF, AGM battery!

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

So, can the bike stall for no reason but restart right away due to a bed R/R? That's what is happening to mine.

not likely. You prabably have a connection that is weak. Either your ignition switch or the on/off switch or a safety switch. Hope this helps.

Ok, niterider-- good info. I've been checking out the safety switches and ordered a replacement clutch switch since the one I have is shaky. I think I'll try the ignition cleaning procedure I just checked out on the forum here.

Great forum folks! Thanks for the help.
