Tach not working.

I'm still working on the carbs so I can't run the bike, but what can I check in the mean time to make sure its connected correctly? I seen used ones online in worse shape then mine and for a new one its about 200. For that price I would just spend the money on single gauge setup.

If the tach isn't working, I would think that you aren't getting a signal from your front coil... The referance signal for the tack comes off of the Black wire... If you are looking for a stock gauge, I have a complete dash I am trying to sell for 100.00 all the gauges work... I have it listed in the For Sale or Swap area under "The Creep Show is Out of Funds" thread.
