r/r connector

This may song stupid but how do you remove the electrical connection to the regulator. Is there a pin underneath. Cant move it out for quids and I need to have a look at the connection to see if it is corroded.

Not electrical but when you're adjusting or tightening the manual chain tensioner do you have the engine running and what do you listen for as you tighten it. Got some chain slapping noise (i think).

the connector has a clip on the side, depress and pull firmly.

as for the mcct, hand tighten until contact, start engine slowly turn until clacking is faint or nonexistant. back off 1/4 turn.
