fan relay?

my wiring diagram shows the fan relay in the junction box....is this right?thats the box behind the battery, correct?
my fan does not come on, and wont come on if i ground the lead from the temp switch..........any ideas?

hook up the leads on the fan, there is a plug,to an external 12 volt battery and see if the fan runs if it does it is the relay or wiring ,if not the fan is shot




If you see it on my bike I did it

i will test the fan tomorrow, if its the relay i think i will wire up my own circuit independent of the JB, i assume a standard 12 v auto relay will work fine...i'll certainly fuse it, and maybe an emergency override switch.
bad idea?

I have considered the same setup. I really don't see a problem with it,go for it.
