Another Dead Stator & a question

Just finish replacing the stator and what a pain in the *** it is. After putting everything back together I have just 1 question. On the drivers side (left side sitting on it)behind the airfilter there is a hose that runs out of the bottome of the main air box intake in the front near the radiator, but I don't know where the other end is supposed to go. It looks like it would go to the back of the air filter box on that side but I didn't see a hookup for it. Am I missing something? My bike has been de smogged and was wondering if that was something I missed.

If it is a small hose it just hangs loose.

No the small one is on the right side of the air box, This hose is about 5 inches long and about 1/2 inch in diameter and one end is connected to the air intake on the drivers side. There still was a hose clamp on the other end of the hose from where I took it off of whatever it was connected to.

That hose is the engine vent hose. The engine vents out at the front left. Should be easy to find.
