Cool So You Think a Maintenance-Free Battery Isn't Worth the Price?

Check this out - wet cell battery gone bad. Battery box is fubarred (no big deal), but so is the jbox, the regulator, and all the parts of the wiring harness that run alongside or below the battery. This is my latest project bike - and since I've got a couple of spare wiring harnesses and r/rs (and a battery box!), all I need to do it get a junction box and this baby will probably run. BUT in the absence of my collection of cheap eBay parts, this is probably a several hundred dollar repair. What's that old advertising slogan? "You can pay me now, or you can pay me later." All of you newcomers to the Forum, don't delay! $85 worth of prevention is worth every penny.

Cindy --

Good reminder of the importance of MF battery. Thanx for sharing! Yuk! What a mess

Here's a link to the latest recommendation from Lance. This is where I recently bought mine, $68 shipped--fast delivery, great battery!
