Spark Wire

So I guess this goes under electrical... I wanna change out my spark plug wires for some old school looking stuff. I found this online but I wanna make sure it will work with our ignition system. Here is a url for the wire:

http://www.magnetoparts.com/wire.htm

I am looking at the 8mm Sparkplug wire, oak with black & red dual cross tracers, it is a solid copper core wire.

Thoughts??

Any reason for the 7mm besides that it is the stock size? I read here and other places that 8mm wire was better?

Our coils are made for 7mm, 8mm is more work for little to no gain.
