Question newbie with a question

Hey everyone I just purchased a 95 vn 750 last week with 13xxx miles on it. I have been all over this site just looking. My question is where is the stator located? I have found the r/r and already am planning on my relocation. i just cant seem to find where the stator is located. any help is appreciated. a picture would be a huge help. btw im going today to get my clymers manual.

Stator is attached to the engine, under a cover on the left side (shifting side). Here is the cover for sale on eBay. You can't see it because it's under it!

The stator is under the round cover plate above the left rider peg.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!
