Bike runs; lights don't

So I was riding home from work tonight and all of a sudden my light went out. And I mean all of them. Headlight, blinkers, panel and gages. I checked the fuses and they all seem fine. The hazards will work and when I turn the key to “push” the break light comes on. What happened?

Check your battery connections and frame grounds, sounds like another ignition switch needs cleaning.

If you push the key and turn all the way right the tail light only will come on.

OK, how about this

I pulled the ignition switch off opened it up and one of the leads was broken off if not lose and then knocked off by me. Can I simply solder it back on or is it more complicated than that
