Popping ignition Fuses

vn750 1989 21k Ive popped two Ignition Fuses this week, after replacing the entire wiring harness. What could be causing this, thinking of replacing the tail lights and turn signals with leds so that there is less strain on the electrical circuits. Maybe its just poor design planning.

Ourselfish-

I have an '89 with 22k on it, and I've had the same problem.. I always blow out my main fuse. My headlight is also intermittent, and I only have half the lights on my dash that work...

I've been looking at replacing the wiring harness, but have been hesitant on doing so. What all do you have to do to replace it? How labor intensive is it? I'm not too mechanically inclined, but I can take things apart and put them back together properly.. most of the time

Good luck,

Tony
