lance; can you post a list of recommended suppliers for him? I'm sure some of them must ship overseas.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Heres one in the UK for you too jarod. Welcome to the forum. www.electrexworld.co.uk
It`s closer to you than the USA, so maybe the shipping costs and time will be less for you.

Welcome jarod. In my experience the costs of shipping, tax and duty for items bought from the US always makes buying from within EU the better choise. From Electrex UK (the link Hoss gave) you get the stator shipped to you for just under 100EUR. Those you find on ebay are above 100 with shipping.

Often times you do find the best price from an ebay seller. I have bought quite a few items from ebay (for my wife's bike). For example, aftermarket mirrors from a Finnish motorcycle shop 56EUR a piece! No thanks! I bought a pair from ebay Germany for 26EUR including shipping. Iridium spark plugs you cannot find for under 15EUR in Finland. Mister Solutions in UK has them for 6+ EUR.

As I got started now, I will tell my experience with the Finnish Kawasaki representative. I ordered front brake piston seals from them. After two and a half months and asking several times about the order status I told them I no longer want them. Ordered from Netherlands and got them in about a week. I have bought nothing from the local representative since, even though it sometimes might be the cheapest alternative. Ahh, now I feel better!

Welcome. Another alternative may be to have an electric motor shop rewind your old stator.
