handlebar turned right, engine stopped

my mechanic was moving my 1993 750, engine running. He turned the handlebar all the way to the right, and the engine stopped. He jiggled wires near the headlight and it started. it did not look like anything was pinched. he could not make it happen again. he took it for several test rides and I rode an hour today, no problem. do we have to test each connection and wire to find the problem, or is there another way? thanks.

Ignition switch harness... it's pulling against the switch contacts inside the switch itself. From the factory, the switch harnes is routed from the switch around the front of the steering head, thru a holder, to a connector block on the left side of the frame behind the front coil. Sometimes there's more slack on the connector block side of the holder than the switch side. There's a tie-wrap at the switch where the wires go into the bottom to prevent the harness from pulling, but age has a way of weakening it...
