Headlight Visor

I want to purchase the k53020-120 headlight visor. Do you need to take apart the entire headlight assembly to install the visor?? Could not find instructions on google.

Thanks...

I picked one up from JC Whitney. On that visor, I had to remove the headlight from the headlamp ring, place a lip of the visor between the ring and the headlamp, then tighten things back up. Not too hard to do at all, but you do need to aim the headlamp when done. I've had mine on for quite a while with no problems.

I put one on and did not have to take the headlight apart. It snapped in just fine. You'll need to put a bead of clear silcone on the inside between the visor and the headlight housing.
