Charging system

So i have a 2004 kawasaki vulcan 750, i bought a new battery and a new R/R and my battery isnt charging.when i try to start the bike the battery gets drained like really fast.ive cleaned all the grounds on the bike.checked fuses and all that is good. Now when i changed the oil two weeks ago i check the stator and it looked good from the top but couldnt see the bottom because the plate.a few friends have told me that its the stator. Is that what it is?

There’s tests you can run on it with a voltmeter to be sure. That’s one thing you want to be certain with because it’s a big job to replace it.

That's basically everything there is to change... Have you gone through the tests on the individual stator and r/r components? What were your results?
Spockster likes this.

1992 US-nonCA * tuxedo mod * r/r relocated

Wiring Diagram + annotations * still undergoing revisions, but still more useful than the generic one. Let me know if you find mistakes or think something additional should be added

After that, wiring is the only part left.

And of course, test the battery, including load test, no matter how new it is.
