Turn signal issue

Hello all,

I won't say that this issue is a recent development because I've only had the bike since Wednesday but I noticed that sometimes the turn signals just don't work. They are always lit up properly but sometimes when I go to use them they don't flash. I use left or right and there is no change. It also doesn't flash when I put the hazard on. This happened a few days ago and resolved itself after a few minutes but yesterday when I was riding they just never worked. They worked this morning just fine though. Any ideas? It's a 94.

Thanks!

Sounds like a bad flasher relay.

EP34 is the one to get, it works for LEDs too without needing load resistors to correct 'hyperflash'. I think most auto parts stores have them.

I bought that flasher and it works, but find a way to waterproof it with silicone or something. Washed my bike 1 single time and it stopped working. Replaced it and sealed it, no more issues. If it hangs upside down you're in for problems. Make it stand straight up.
