Accidentally destroyed stator cover

I accidentally destroyed the stator housing in my crankcase attempting to perform the tuxedo stator plate mod. My friend providing assistance with the job was rushing and I wasn't thinking clearly when I rolled with his motions in cutting the left crankcase cover and we cut far too much out. Now I'm in need of a new one and I can't seem to find a source anywhere online or locally.

I've had to take the bus everywhere in the weeks that my bike has been out of commission and it's really taken its toll on my life. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Craig's list or EBay or Bikebandit.com for starters.

Here in the Sacramento area it might be possible to find one at the MC salvage yard.

Checked ebay every way I could think of, none there that I can find right now. There are usually quite a few, sometimes they're already cut for the mod. They're out there, they just haven't been relisted yet.

Maybe send a PM to .... WilliamTech, had a parts engine. Kanuck also was parting out one.

Put up a wanted post in Sell/Swap down below in the forum.

Look up Pinwall Cycle in Ohio ...... well, here, home | Pinwall Cycle Parts, Inc | Your one stop, motorcycle shop for used parts, service, accessories, & apparel

They have a store on ebay too and should have one, but maybe the listing has expired. Their prices have been pretty reasonable in the past, could ask if they have one that is cut, if they know what they're looking for.

There is one for sale on UK eBay, it may work out very expensive with postage to the USA, but at least its an option.

I'm seeing a ton of clutch-side crankcase covers on EBay, but none stator-side. No listings locally on a parts bike. And Idk if that listing in the UK is a viable option for the price.

None listed on Pinwall Cycle Parts. Looks like BikeBandit.com has one for $168... Not quite a bargain, but it may be my only option if I want to get back on the road again. I'll keep checking EBay for the time being.

Maybe contact Pinwall, they could have some sitting there that aren't listed.

Though I never got to the bottom of it when I questioned seeing aftermarket parts on VNs in their videos that never got listed for sale. (luggage racks, signal relocators, etc.)

I ordered new tires from there and the transaction was flawless.

One thing I've noticed... Someone mentions needing a part on here, in no time I'll see one listed on ebay.

I check it almost daily, I'll bolo.
