Front Brake Light Switch

Trying to get the scoot all finished finally and ready for sale to make room for something new. At this time I am looking for an electrical switch for the brake lights on our VN 750 (year 2000). It mounts under the master cylinder (round) by one or two screws. I am not sure right now and not near the bike. I had removed the two wires and used a jumper wire to test for continuity along the length of the wire from the master to the rear brake light and that is all working. I also cleaned the contacts on the switch but the switch itself does not seem to be working properly.

If anyone has one available please send me a price and shipping to 08824 (New Jersey). Thank you.

Did you disassemble it? I had to rebuild mine once. Just put things back the way they were.
A little spring of sorts came out of its spot.

Just throwing it out there.

Wasn't totally sure about it so I was trying to go the easy way and just replace it. If no one has one available I will try that as it just isn't working so I can't make it any worse. Thanks.

As far as disassembly & reassembly. It's not to hard, maybe a 3 to 4 on complexity. The fun is in the finesse of handling such small parts.

By far, replacement is easier & quicker. But you could have this done before the new parts arrived.

After a lack of responses, I ordered my switch from Bike Bandit and it has been installed. Thank you to all that responded. I did not want to be sitting on the sidelines too long so I got anxious and ordered the switch direct. I would still like to pickup a brake lever in decent shape to switch out if anyone has that available. Thanks.
