Wtb solo seat

Hundred dollar budget, can manufacture/fabricate something instead of/in addition to payment.

Looking for a solo seat, mustang style. Not picky, just want something that will sit well.

401-675-7442 text or call, or respond here. I check periodically.

Hello,

I've installed the mean streak vn1600 seat. Very easy install.

Via this link you can find a example in the UK. Found mine for 100. You need to turnaround 2 brackets 180 degrees and remove a little bit of plastic underneath the seat, just 1 cm. Drill 2 holes in a plate on the frame. If you are really interested I'll take some detailed pictures of the steps I took.

If you would check my garage you can see a picture of me sitting on the bike.

Hello!

I've installed a VN1600 mean streak seat.

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDgwWDcyMA==/z/CmMAAOSw585WUKIr/$_12.JPG

Via the link you can find a example in the UK. Bought mine in the Netherlands for 100. Very easy install. You'll need to flip the brackets on the seats 180 degrees and drill 2 holes in a plate on the frame. Than bolt everything together. There was this post you could find via google, but the site doesn't exist anymore. So if you're interested I could create a small manual on the site.

Greetings!

You can do as I did and cut down the stock seat, add some different foam, and recover it in leather:

This is what I threw together. Some 18 gauge, some rivets, lots of condensed foam, and some fabric. Want something better looking, though.

come one crowley I know you can do better than that... here is a really good tutorial on making the seatpan using fiberglass. Works great... after you are done making a real nice seat pan get a couple Yoga Mats and a couple of camping sleeping pads to use for padding...
