1999 VN750 Loaded for sale (~45K miles)
I'm still alive. I have not been here in a long time, and most of you don't know me, but I'm one of the original creators of this web site. I just purchased a new ride. A 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT if you must know. I love it. It is faster and more nimble than the '750 if you believe that. But I don't like the chain, and it is just a tad too tall for me.
Anyway I'm going to sell my other two bikes: '99 VN750 with a ton of accessories. I'm trying to gauge interest as she is or if I need to bother with stripping her down and selling the parts. I know the whole is worth less than the sum of the parts.
The stator is gone again, but I have the TOC mod, so I will teach the new owner how to change the stator out, as well as how to do their first oil change. Also the turn signals would need to be replaced. The rubber stems are shot and drooping.
So here are the details. I'm not sure what the 750's are going for these days so if there is any interest let me know, and make me an offer I can't refuse.. LOL I'm posting this on the original board as well. I hate to sell her but she just isn't getting ridden.
This bike has had the ear shave and a stage three jet kit installed, and it is fast.
Off the top of my head this AM 1 cup of coffee in, this is what I remember I have done to the bike:
Custom paint job
progressive fork springs
Kury volt meter
Toc side cover mod for easy stator replacement
toc prototype manual cam chain tensioner (just one)
Knife maker dashboard,
knife maker passenger floorboards
SS cables ?
Extended back rest
clear brake lens
chrome radior reservoir cover
Progressive rear Shocks
Saddle bag mounts
turn signal relocation kit
Back off brake module
Kieson headlight flasher
Vance and hines pipes
Stage 3 jet kit
ME 880 tires, brand new, maybe 500 miles on them?
I also have some spare parts, a full set of tins, and other things I don't remember buried. Full set of unused forward controls too I think that I never installed, and cost me a pretty penny at the time.
I'll only be checking back here once a day or so, so don't expect a fast reply.
Alright Already, Lets Ride!!
