need new engine

Figured I'd look here first since she hasn't sold since I was on here last figure I'd fix her and keep her. Compression is off needs a rebuild but looking for a motor for a quick fix any help is appreciated.

OK I remember this sight being more friendly what happened. Or do I need to start the conversation. How has it been . What's up Wolfie. Who's has rebuilt there engine? And any hint or tips to look out for specialty tools needed. Yes I know I need to watch roaches videos. But anything else. Also who has heard from newrider.

Yes you have been away for some time. That is not the reason for the lack of response as this group is more than willing to help any member on this forum until we are done wrong which has happened on very rare occasions. Your post should be under the "Sell or Swap" heading and that is also the first place to look for a motor.

As for your shout outs I will leave that subject alone but it does prove that you have been gone for some time now.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"
**Really not sure if the Big "C" is back right now
but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.

What's up Edge, how have you been? Hope all my fellow members have been doing well with a great new year start, it has been awhile since I've been online as well. I have taken my engine apart twice, I actually just threw away the list of parts I ordered 3 days ago. Basically I replaced all the bearings in the case, all the seals ( mechanical and oil) along with the o rings which I bought a metric kit from HF aside from the odd ball o rings. All parts were ordered from Ron Ayers.com, cheapest I found online.

As far as specialty tools go I would go ahead and get a spanner wrench for the cam damper and the clutch tool for the clutch. Tried roaches "homemade" clutch tool and it worked the first time, the second time I broke my clutch basket. It can be done without them but it's always easier if you have the correct tools. Peace!
