F/S or Swap VN 700 Head Gaskets.

I have a new pair of vn700 head gaskets (11004-1134)for sale or will swap for a pair of vn750 head gaskets(11004-1135). I got the wrong ones so just looking to get the correct ones for my bike. I live in Australia but postage should be to much. Let me know if you are interested or they will go on the bay.

I'm wondering why you can't use the 700 gaskets on a 750.....

If head gasket, wouldn't cylinder bore be an issue? 700 has a smaller cylinder and therefore would have a smaller opening on the gasket?

Right^ ....But we are talking about what? A sixteenth of an inch? Couldn't you just trim it on the head with a razor blade and use it?

I don't know. Would you want to take the risk? Isn't the head gasket metal? I don't know much about gasket composition, but I would answer the following question:

Will the cut edge perform as well as a manufactured edge?

I have measured up the gaskets and considered cutting them to fit but there is a pressed ridge line around the bore and it would affect that so I am not willing to take the risk
