need good clear title

For all you guys and gals with a vn that you are parting out, I NEED YOUR TITLE. I bought mine as a basketcase and the previous owner gave me the title along with it. Like a not so smart person I didnt worry about changing the title or reg it till I got it back together and running. So today Im so close to being finished and I needed to renew the tag on my truck so I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. As it turns out the previous owner went to a title loan place and got a loan against the bike ten damn years ago. Of course he never paid for it so the lein still exists. I contacted the company that has the lein but it seems that the bad debt was sold off to another company that has since gone out of business. So I need a new title altogether. I have talked to the highway patrol and they gave me two options, I can bond the bike and have it titled with a new vin or simply get a title from another vn. Anyone got one? HELP

Anyone know of a place where bikes go to die, i.e. bike junkyard?

I was supposed to get a title for the bare frame I got from eBay, but never did

Around here in PA, the title VIN number has to match the bike VIN number.
No match = no registration = no riding the bike

Hope ya find one or somehow get it registered

Titles here also match frame VIN to title VIN. I bought a "titled" frame for the project rebuild. For the other frame I will have to go through the "abandoned vehicle" title process.
You might check out something like International Title services

You'll need to find a frame with a clear title. If you find a frame with a salvage title. It'll have to be inspected and re-titled as "Rebuilt". Most individuals can't do this themselves due to the cost of bonding and the insurance you have to have.... Good luck......
