This is from a 2004? Looks metal.

There is only one full metal Grill for our bikes, It was made by Highway Hawk and sold in the UK. The part number has been discontinued for years.

The one you linked to is actually off of a Yamaha 750 and is plastic, not metal.

Ah! That makes sense. It does look like rust on the side, though.

The one you posted has metal inserts that should have been chrome from the factory, but have since been sanded out and look to be painted black

The whole grill aseemblies you have posted are plastic, not metal. The stock grills on teh VN750 have always been plastic, the chrome inserts however are metal

Are you sure. There was a fellow on here selling a chrome radiator cover, not the insert. It was e-bay not long ago.
