Travelcade Seat for sale.

SOLD! Thanks everyone!

Hi All.

I recently bought a Travelcade seat (don't know if all their seats are 'Saddleman' seats or not, so don't know if this one is or not either) that I recently bought used on eBay. I bought it to see if I would like it more than the stock seat, and for me the answer is no, I don't.

This seat is NOT in pristine condition, it's been repaired (I think using silicone) where the back of the passsenger seat meets the seating surface, and it's missing a couple of studs. I would like to get $100.00 for it which would include domestic shipping with the US. Thanks!

Here are some closer pix of where the repairs are. I left them large to make it easy to see. (so I couldn't actually upload them to the board's server, but rather left them on my .mac site)

Does this mean there's no interest in the seat? Or is my price too high? If it's the second, I'm flexible, make me an offer I can't refuse!

I know I should be trying to promote this seat as the best thing since sliced bread, but honestly, I find the stock seat more comfortable, and the Corbin seat I just bought off eBay even more comfortable than either the stock seat, or the Travelcade seat.

One thing this seat is good for (which is the reason I got it in the first place) is as a cheap way to find out if you like the Travelcade seats. I suppose if you did find this seat comfortable, you could buy a replacement seat cover for it from Travelcade, and then have a seat that's like brand new for a fraction of the price!

So, send some offers my way!

Ok, no interest at $100.00 so how about $75.00? Remember, just because I find it less comfortable than the stock seat doesn't mean you will too. I saw a NOS one selling on eBay for lots more, and they called it a Saddleman seat, so I guess this seat IS a Saddleman seat after all!

Yes it is a Saddleman Travelcade seat, model Desperado
I know cause I have one and like it! It is discontinued but I think JC Whitney may have covers available yet.
It's funny, I've also lost two of the stids on mine in almost the same place. I figure mine was due to where I strapped my bags to the sissy bar and back cause that is exactly where the straps came across.
If this is the same one I saw on Ebay, and the pictures look familar.. then it also has the gel seat, which mine doesn't. I've done an Iron Butt with mine so it is definitely comfortable for me.
