Corbin seat and factory luggage rack

I have a Corbin seat for the VN750 for sale, it has only been on a bike for about a month (which means it is still very firm...lol). And, a factory Kawa luggage rack with h/w. If no one is interested here, I'll stick 'em on ebay, wanted to give folks first shot here. Just trying to get some investment back, not trying to make anything off of these.

Corbin seat: $250 (lists for over $600)
Kawa luggage rack: $65

both plus shipping to your location. The bike pic is to show what the seat looks like.

How's the seat for comfort? I know some folks don't like the stock one, although I'm happy with it. However, Orleans is in need of a new seat, and I'd certainly consider swapping out for the Corbin. Any idea on shipping to 21716? It could go on a slow mule - it's cold out here and promises to be for awhile.

I only rode with the seat on the bike twice I think. Everything I've read about Corbins is that they stress "firm" for their seats. It is definitely very firm, probably weighs almost twice what a stock seat does due the very dense padding. It also lowers the saddle height at least an inch. They are supposed to need a lengthy "breaking in" period, which I won't have it long enough now to find out since I'm trading in my VN750 for the new VN1600. I have one offer that came in first for both items, will keep everyone posted if that doesn't work out.

found a link to the Corbin site for the seat, it's the "Dual Tour" model:

Thanks - I don't think I need it that firm; or that low. I really like the positioning with the stock seat, so I'll stick with that.

I don't think you can beat the looks either, a big improvement over the stock seat. If was keeping the bike, I'd be checking into the drivers backrest made for the Corbin. I'll be putting my Pro-Tac backrest up for sale in a separate post.

5/8 squair stock fits great in the seat for a post, My local steal shop gave me a piece long enough to work. The rest of the steel I had, Got the backrest off a Toyota Sequoia I put Headrest TV's in.
Had the lady that fixes the interiors of the used cars to Die it black, she didn't charge me so I tipped her $5. Then a little welding and paint and there you go.
Now I can do 400 miles a day with no problem.
