yeah they are pretty high on ebay!! i just figured that painting something chrome never comes out right so if a guy wanted some chrome ones and had a good set of painted ones than it would be great. i can paint them but then it ruins a chrome set.
as long as they arnt cracked or broken in any way i would take any color as they will end up black anyway

I'll swap with you if I have what you want, I'll take some pics later today and we can trade pics. Just let me know if you already have a deal.

Mine are 2003, burgundy, no cracks but some very minor marks in the paint that didn't buff out all the way. On the badges, the V on one side and the N on the other are just starting to lift, from the wind I guess. Still has the checklist label on the inside.

There are some chroming systems out there for plastic, but they aren't cheap, the chemicals are pricey and spray on like water.

It's a few thousand bucks for the equipment and a couple hundred per gallon for the chemicals that you shoot on like using a fire hose. I was looking into this for a business, but there's some durability issues with it that kinda turned me off, once you disappoint everyone, you tend to run out of customers. But, there's all sorts of videos out there with people chroming just about anything imaginable.

I have a Black set from my newly aquired 2002 I might trade you. I wanna swap the chrome set off my 94 1st to see how it looks. If so, you got a deal if yours are in good shape.
