Looking for Toolbox and Fuel tank

I just picked up an 85 VN700 and it has the lid missing (completely gone).
I'm looking for a toolbox or at least a lid. I am also looking for another fueltank. The one on the bike has a small dent on the front right side and most likely cannot be fixed easily. I am going to repaint the entire bike, so if your tank is scratched up or has blemishes I don't care.
Let me know what you have-- I'm located in Reedsburg, Wi. 53959 (for shipping)

Thanks a lot!!!!

How do people get dents on their tanks? A little dent, OK, but I've seen a lot of bikes up for sale that have a big dent up by the handlebars.

I think when someone drops one, the handlebars might hit. That is the only way I can think, unless someone really crashes and the bike hits something like a curb or a rock. Other than that I have no idea...

I wonder the same thing. Especially since my dent is no where near where the handle bars would contact it. The dent is a little bigger than a quarter. I guess I'll try the dry ice thing--I remember seeing it on here somewhere?!?!??

Trashlord--thanks I'll try Ron Ayres for the toolbox--- it beats the used one I found on Evil-Bay for $50.00 + S/H
As for the tank--I just thought maybe a fellow Vulcaneer may have one laying around to offer at a reasonable price, but I may find one on Evil-Bay. I've been watching E-bay--just haven't found one for the right price. Everything on there currently is in very good condition-- I just want one that looks like crap without dents or very minor fixable dents!

Remember to use your left over dry ice wisely - a 2 liter bottle and some warm water helps.

Man---I can't find the topic where I read about the dry ice. I know it's in here-- they talk about how to use it and where to get it.
