Rear ended this morning....Stay Tuned

I was rear ended on my bike this morning. Sitting at a stop light the dip just plowed into the back of me. Needless to say since it's a 90 it'll probably be totaled. So stay tuned on this one. If it is totaled, i'll have a few parts to sell (Corbin Seat). More than likely i'll buy it back from the insurance company and pull the engine which was rebuilt this past april/may. So the entire engine may be available soon as well.

Sorry to hear that Marlo. Sorry to hear about the bike, but more importantly how did you get affected? I hope you weren't hurt.

Thanks for your concern gentlemen. I was good. I actually saw him at the last second and attempted to jump off the bike. Hit my leg on the peg and got a nice lil cut and bruise, but was all good. I straight told that kid, if it wasn't 8:30 in the morning and all these cars out here, i'd be beatin your ass right here in the middle of the street.
I'm guessing they're going to total the bike because of all the cosmetic stuff that will have to be replaced. Add in that the clutch is screwed up and a lot of that stuff had been recently been replaced and I dont see them tossing me 3 grand for a 20 year old kawasaki. But, we'll see.

Really sorry to hear about your accident. I went down a few weeks ago and it was rattling, to say the least. Dibs on the Corbin seat and engine, in that order, if they're available ... I'm in Centereach and could get out there in under 2 hours with traffic. Wish I knew there was another LI rider on the forums. Ride safe.
