What do you guys think?

I hate to do it because I love looking at her from my bedroom window, but I am going to part ways with my vulcan. She needs a better home free from city traffic. I've taken her on multiple week-long trips to the south, north, and west and she's never let me down.

I was wondering what you guys think would be a good asking price. Here are the deets:

1994 with about 30.7k miles (I think)
Tank has 1 dent and 2 nicks (and the Vulcan logo on one side needs new adhesive)
New tires (less than 2 years and less than 3k on them)
Those Progressive rear shocks that lower the bike to 27.5 inches off the seat or whatnot.
LED rear light
New TOC springs for ACCT
New fork tubes and seals (that was pricy!)
Ridden every 2 weeks for an hour (even if it is below freezing)
Going on 2 yr old maintenance free battery

It would need some love in the new riding season in the form of air filter cleaning, oil filter, radiator fluid. It could stand for new mirrors too (the one on the right just doesn't like seating right/staying put).

What do you guys think? I am leaning towards $1500 because I got it for $1650 and put some work into her.

In our area I think you'll sell it for 1500 no problem. It's starting to warm up a bit and I am seeing more and more bikes on the road... $1500.00 is a good deal IMO.

Good Luck on the sale.

If you kept the stock rear shocks I'd put those back on and sell the Progressives here. Sure you'd get some takers. Otherwise your price sounds fair.

I am debating that. I may just part ways with them since idk what the market is for a pair that has about 1k on them on a bike for 9 months.

I was on the Progressive Suspension site a few days ago and new set of shocks were listed for $299.95. I`m sure you can still get at least half that for next to new ones.

I am looking to get the lowering shocks and the time they've been on your bike doesnt matter to me. Let me know if you'd like to trade back for some stocks with a little to boot if needed. Thanks
