wtb vn750

I'm looking for a clean vn 750, would like it to be less than 2000 miles from reno nv, less than 20,000 miles, newer than 94, with stock pipes. I will pay cash, on arrival and a deposit to hold it.
I plan to fly to pick up the bike and make a road trip of it back to Quincy CA.
Thanks

I get nervous with bikes that are over 10 years old and have really low mileage.
The original rubber could look good but would it be good?
I bought a Vulcan 750 several years ago that had sat in a garage forever. The carbs were major trouble and then it started a head leak that ran over the starter and then it went out.
How much has the bike been recently ridden? If you got it out of some garage and just got it started, I would not feel good about jumping on it and going for a 1500 mile trip.

I bought the bike and it had been parked for the past 5 years. I have been through the carbs, brakes, changed the rear end grease........I have put over 500 miles on it now and I would trust it to go anywhere.
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.

I looked at your old post and see that you had some trouble getting the bike going.
Did you figure out where the line with a screw in it went? In CA I will have to get the bike smoged.
Did you get the mid range hesitation fixed?
Do you trust 12 year old tiers?

Anyone else out there have opinions about this bike?
