Anybody have a cheap ACCT or two?

Just seeing if anybody has em. I stripped one of mine a while ago... I've ridden quite a bit since then and the screw is still there and there's been no oil leak lol but I'd still like to replace it if I can find one that I can afford... Let me know, thanks!

I only really need one of em since I was planning to rebuild them anyway, but if someone has two that work right I might just get them instead. If not, as long as it's not stripped, it's good!

Ceal have you seen this thread? I think it's post 29 by Dirtrrack that shows where he drilled and drove a screw or bolt into the side of the acct housing. I think if you adjusted the screw to when it's quiet and then did his trick you could then just put sealer on the cap bolt and be all set for next to nothing. I did the other mod (wibs) and it works great but if I had seen dirttrack's 1st I prob would have done that one. Check it out..

That's really cool! So it wouldn't matter if my ACCT is stripped with that mod?

I'll have to try and find the parts locally, but some parts I dunno how to ask for in spanish lol. I'll take a look online as well anyway.

Thanks for the link! I thought if my ACCT was stripped I wouldn't be able to make it into an MCCT, so that's why I hadn't tried it.

You're right you wouldn't with the traditional conversion, but I'm pretty sure if you just drill a hole and put sealer on the screw you put in there you'll be good to go. I don't think dt changed a thing inside, think he just turned the internal screw attached to the spring until he got it quiet and then locked it down. Might be a two hand adjustment tho, lol.
