Wanted: Piston, Rod, Head for Rear Cylinder

Hi All,

After pulling apart my engine described in this thread, I discovered I needed a few parts for my rear cylinder.

These parts include:
Piston
Rod
Head (With valves and Cams)

I've been keeping an eye on ebay but I thought I'd ask on here too.

His OP in the link says it is a 2002 model, so it is a 750.

I have a locked up 750 in the garage. I have to pull it apart to check the amount of damage though.

Yup, sorry it is a 750. I should have stated that. I just assumed since it's VN750.com that they were all 750's, didn't realize there was a 700.

The US models for 1985 only, were VN700 (699cc actually) due to a heavy tariff on importing any bikes larger than 700 cc into the USA.
All 1985 model engines worldwide, 700 and 750 (749) cc were painted black.
From 1986 on all engines are painted a natural aluminum color.

I have a rear piston, cylinder, and head available. Comes from a 1995. The rod I already offered to someone else. If they don't take it, I'll add that in too. Came from this engine. Front cylinder sustained the damage, rear should be fine.

EDIT: the other guy I offered the rods to doesn't need them, so one or both are available to you now.
