Talking Rebuilt Carbs - Here before they go on eBay

I am seriously trying to move some stuff along that's been sitting in my work area for a couple of years now, and am ready to part with a set of carbs that I rebuilt. I know there was a set posted here a little while ago and no one showed any interest, but I thought I'd at least give Forum folks a chance before I put 'em up on eBay. Usual rebuild approach: Completely disassembled and soaked in parts cleaner as long as necessary to remove gas residue, dried with compressed air. Reassembled, with parts replaced, if needed. Stock jets; did take the lead out so you can adjust the air/fuel mixture screw. Idle adjust and choke linkage both in excellent shape.

Asking $160, shipped UPS ground.

That`s a heck of a deal Cindy. I would snap them up if I had any issues with my carbs at the moment or suspected I might in the near future.

For any new folks who may not be aware of Crobins expertise and thoroughness in her carb work, study these albums she made of Daddy Dave`s carb cleaning and repairs.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! The good news is: These weren't in near as bad a shape as Daddy Dave's were. LOL

That's a great price and from what I've seen in the way you post and catalogue our work, I bet they run great. I learned a lot from the pictures you posted of your carb rebuild. Thanks for that.
