Need a Petcock

My petcock is leaking. I checked the fuel lines to be sure. It's dripping right out of the body. Anyone have one in your box of parts you'd sell?

I've got parts around, including a rebuild kit. But probably best if you can determine exactly where the leak is coming from. You may just need the gasket that sits behind the fuel flow switch (I've seen 'em on eBay for just a couple of dollars).

I purchased a rebuild kit from eBay and it worked like a charm. Well worth the money and very easy to do.

Joem I bought a petcock on ebay for 40 bucks and I may not need it. The company I ordered a new one from said it was held up indefinitely so I cancelled the order...and they shipped it today anyway and charged me. (Doesn't anyone listen anymore). I'd sell it for the same price. Looked in good shape but I haven't received it yet. Should be here tomorrow and I can test it. But have you tried twisting the nozzles while pressing them into the body of the valve though? I think they're just pressed in. I had to order a replacement because the screens are gone in my original.

Cool. Turns out they did cancel the order so I feel better not having 2.

Awwww shucks. Just found out today that mine leaks intermittently and it is coming right out of the body like you were mentioning about the gasket. I played with the lever and it stopped. But I need a backup in case it gets worse.
