Hmmm how slim is slim? you could go with a springer style seat, or you could build a slim seat like the one I have... but as far as an aftermarket, direct bolt on seat that is is low profile... they aint out there.

You can try to uncover the original seat, from there cut the seat down. You can make it as thin as you want, it is fairly thick. I shaped mine by making it more concave thus taking the pressure off of your tail bone. After you cut it down it will be a rough cut, so take a sanding disk on a drill and smooth it out. You can also shape it with the disk. When your all done 1/4 inch staples will reattach the seat cover. Slowly stretch and pull the cover to make it nice and tight.

Welcome to the Vulcan madness Rip.

Just to be clear to me, by "thin", do you mean the thickness/height of the seat, or do you mean you want the seat narrower between your thighs. Narrower was the first impression I had as I read your post.

But slim and weh44att interpret it as wanting the seat lower.
Do you need to mod the seat for a short inseam length? Or to relieve "monkey butt" on long rides?

Maybe he means thin like the Corbin seat made for our scoots? Is this the thin you are looking for? http://www.corbin.com/kawasaki/8696vulcan.shtml

the corbin is thicker than the stock seat in both height and width.

as thinner in width...i meant both... my custom seat is the width of the frame and only an 1 1/2" above the frame. I need to measure my seat height but i am thinking roughly 6" lower than the stock seat.
