Rear Fender

I recently bought a fender off of ebay, came as described, unfortunatly it was the wrong color, I thought it was black, and it is actually black/metalic blue. If anybody needs a fender, i will sell for what i got into it, $30 plus shipping. It is in good shape, no dents, and a few small scratches, would have been real happy with it had it been the right color. vn700, vn750.
Thanks, Shawn

They did the same thing in '02. My "black" bike is actually very dark metallic green, so dark that you have to take a good look at it in the sun to see it. I don't know why they didn't just make it black. I also have a red tank and both fenders that I'm trying to decide whether to sell, or save for a custom paint job. Jerry.

You sure your bike hasn't been repainted? '02 Vulcans are Black/Silver from the factory...

No, I bought it new. It does look black in the picture, but is actually really dark metallic green and silver. Jerry.

I have a set of tins i am going to eventualy paint or experiment on, but I want to restore my 86 to looking good, and it's cheaper to replace tins than it is to have them profesionaly painted. I figure the little touch up work, and shining up i can do, but have no doubts as to my ability to screw up paint...lol

I was curious about this so just checked the Color Rite site 5 minutes before you posted, only to find out what you just posted.

The Ebony Black is the color of the frame.
