Luggage Lock

I lost the lock to the Sissybar luggage compartment. I guess it was loose and fell out when I was riding. Anyone have an extra or know where I can get one?

Thanks,
Tom

You can get a replacement at Home depot or similar store. Unfortunately, it won't be keyed the same. Use silicone on the new one to keep it from falling out.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Usually ya gotta make some mods to the lock lever to get it to fit properly, but even then it's a lot cheaper than buying a stock one!!

Went to the dealer & they had one "$50.00". Told them I was headed to Home Depot and they said that they never heard of that. Got one there for 5/16" panels @ approx. $6.00. All I did was use a hack-saw blade and cut the slot on 1 side. You can hardly tell & fits perfect. Thanks!

Did ya do anything to make sure the nut wont come loose so ya don't lose this one? (i.e. silicone or loctite on threads)
