Meanstreak Seat for sale

So I got my meanstreak Seat in from the Fleabay.

Just laid it on the bike to see how it sat me, and it actually moves me closer to the handlebars, my knees go from just behind the wings on the vulcan emblem to further than midway through. It moves me too close for comfort.

I havent bolted it down yet or anything, and I don't see any need to, its just pushing me closer to the handlebars, the exact opposite effect i was looking for.

As for the item itself it is in great shape, on the bottom there is a bit of rust marking, looks like the PO might have let it get wet or something, but overall the seat is in good shape, the mounts arent rusted or anything.

Shorter riders would probably love this!

I paid $78 Shipped for this on ebay,

Ill take $60 shipped.

Here You Go:

Would you consider trading a sportster seat for your meanie seat? I have pics in the link provided in my sig. line. I mounted the sportster seat and was very inpressed with the comfort and location. It does have a couple of scuffs in the vinyal that can easiely be repaired. Let me know.

Interesting suggestion.

I guess my concern is the same though, it seems as though the upcurve on the meanstreak is sharper and slightly sooner than the rear fender/frame swoop on my bike so it pushes me forward a tad.

Do you feel as though the sportster seat runs closer to the natural curve of the frame? How difficult is it to mount? Im not completely numb with my hands, but im no machinist or mechanic... But if you need a computer fixed... lol

I guess id be interested if I saw some pictures of it mounted... im gonna go look in your pics ;-)

I had to fab up a new tounge piece for the forward mount and drilled a hole in the rear fender for the rear mount. So if you were to take the seat all you would need is to drill your rear fender is all. It fits the curve of the bike like it was built for it and its so very much more comfortable than the stock seat. The only reason I'm interested in the meanie seat is because you stated that it brings the rider forward and sense I'll be turning my 750 over to the wife (I ride my 1500 alot more) once she gets the MSC out of the way it should make it more managable for her than the sporty seat.

Does the Sportster seat give you any more inseam room? I need a seat that will get me back and higher for my 34" inseam. Couple of inches leg room would be great.

maybe we could do a 3 person trade, I would much prefer cash for the seat... Im going to take another peak at it tomorrow. it does fit on pretty smooth, slight pressure on the rear tab for the fender when you attach it. but overall, it looked like it would be a fairly easy mod to mount this seat to the VN750...

I will get back to you tomorrow for sure...

Not enough to make any differance no. It sits like a stocker seat.
