Post 2006 VN750 with 11000 miles

I'm selling my 2006 Vulcan 750 because it has developed the phantom-out-of-gas issue since I moved to the desert …and I haven't been able to make it not do it [correction: see FIXED below]. Actually, the wife is making me sell it because she says she doesn't want me to ride it if it does that.

Anyway, it's in perfect shape, with custom highway pegs and a safety light (the day-time blinking headlamp one). The grips are wrapped in black leather. It is garage kept and never dropped. I only want $3,950 for it.

I’m near Mesa Arizona and can be reached best via email at [email protected].

I took apart my gas cap too and found that the yellow washer was in upside down!!!
It must have been assembled wrong, but until it got real hot, it never blocked air enough to cause an issue.

I fixed the fuel cap washer and it now runs fine. Thanks!

Oh, I'd still be willing to sell it, but now I'm in no hurry. If I do, I'll get a 2010 model. 12k-miles and running great.

I`m glad to hear you got your bike cured of the phantom "out of gas" syndrome. BTW if you buy a 2010 model bike, it will have to be something other than a vn750. Your 2006 is the last model year for the 750.
