Just sold my 03 VN750. I have the Mean Streak seat that modified for it. It will include all the mounting hardware for the seat along with a set of modified grab bars/backrest brackets and a couple of plugs for the tubular frame. The seat has one small wear spot. It's on the strap, not on the actual seat. The brackets are the original brackets from the bike that I cut, ground and polished to get rid of the backrest portion. They have some pitting that i tried to show.
Looking to get $100 plus shipping for everything. Thanks for looking!

I see you're outside Richmond. That's only an hour and a half from me. If you're not in a super big hurry, I could bring it to you. I get up that way fairly often. I can get you a shipping quote if you still want one though.

if he isn't interested, I would like to be next on this. Thanks, willing to come to you or pay shipping.
Here’s a dumb question, how is that seat fastened down?

rball0954, no one has spoken for it at the present. If you want it, you can get it.

Mmart, a bracket on each side of the seat extends downward. You drill a hole or use self tapping screws to fasten it to the frame gussets below the seat. The factory seat covers these gussets, so you can't see them unless you remove the factory seat. The rear of the seat is attached by drilling a hole in the top of the rear fender and attaching with a bolt, a series of washers and an acorn nut. Looks really clean when done right. You can put the stock seat back on and never see the mods.
Not my idea. I originally saw it on this forum. There's a post showing how it's done.

Yes, the turn signals and helmet locks were mounted on the factory saddle bag brackets. They were already on the bike when I bought it. It wasn't a difficult mod. Took longer to grind and polish the grab bar brackets than anything else. I'm lucky to have access to nice grinding and polishing equipment. My dad was a bladesmith and knifemaker.
Different seat just gives the bike a different look. I wasn't a big fan of the looks of the original seat, so I changed it. My girlfriend, who I bought the bike for, couldn't have cared less.

Ha I have close to zero metal working tools, other than drill bits and files. If bikes were made of wood I’d be fully covered in the tools department lol.
