1995 VN750 for sale, Project or Parts bike, $700
Before anyone busts on me about it, yes, I read all the info on the forums about the electrical system and how to modify the bike to prevent failures. I live in an apartment, I have no garage and minimal tools, and paying for motorcycle work is expensive in my area. I took my chances, got 4 years and 14,000 of my own miles before it failed with 20,759 total miles on the bike. I had a friend do some quick diagnostics, there are some melted connectors and he advises replacing both the stator and r/r. I have a newer, bigger Vulcan Nomad now, so the 750 is going up for sale as-is...
The good news! New Kenda tires installed less than a year ago, only about 500 miles on them. New Progressive 412 shocks installed about 2 months ago, new Yuasa AGM battery installed 1 month ago. Engine runs strong! The seat was stripped to the pan, reshaped to keep the passenger in place better, repadded and recovered about 2 years ago. I also have the extended backrest which was recovered to match and will be included.
The bad news... My GF tried to use it to learn to ride. Some minor damage from 2 static drops on the right side, and one 15mph curb jump into a grassy hillside (also landing on the right side). Front end is out of whack and needs to be realigned, handlebars are tweaked, new turn signals would be a good idea, and it looks like the headlight adjuster broke, the lamp is cocked to the right in the housing.
(She bought herself a Honda Rebel 250 and is doing much better now!)
Asking $700 for the bike as-is. Starts and runs great with a fully charged battery, just not for long since it's not charging. Bike is located in Hackettstown, NJ and would need to be picked up as I don't have a trailer. I can't remember my password for this site, so I can only log in from my home laptop, it may take me a bit to answer any questions.
