Anybody have a complete (working) engine?

I haven't been riding in a while, and it's time to get back to it. My 750's engine is torn all the way down in the garage, and with several projects on my plate I'd love to keep this one simple. Does anybody have a complete engine that's ready to run? I don't mind buying a parts bike with no title as long as it runs. Obviously I'm hoping not to spend a ton, but let me know what you've got. I'm in Roanoke, VA. Thanks!

1983 GL650i in pieces. Someday it will ride again.

No engine to sell, but selling my '03. Likely more than what you want to spend, but that's what I have. It's ready for a set of tires.

I'd use the one you have as a parts bike and just buy another one. That's what I did. I paid $1750 for a really nice low mileage 1997 model. Now a super low mileage 2006 just showed up on the local Craigslist. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/searc...vn750&hasPic=1 They show up quite often here, so you could probably find one in your area. This one may seem expensive, but it's a last year model with 8,000 miles. If they still made them, a new one would likely be well over $10K

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

Spockster, can you tell me a little more (or paste a link if you've got it posted separately)? Thanks!

Haven't done an ad yet, but here's a post with a couple of pics, I was just thinking out loud.

Edit: Just so I'm not beating around the bush ... I haven't come up with a price yet, but I'm thinking definitely under $2k. I need to look through my receipts, deduct my riding enjoyment, and settle on a price. I'm not someone that expects to recover every nickel spent on a project.

Been having an eye problem, so reading a lot of fine print (receipts) has been on the back burner. I'll put a quick list of improvements at the link above.

Thanks, I'll check it out!

Jerry - I have no need/interest in using mine for parts and buying a separate bike to receive them. Mine's an '86 in great shape apart from the engine.
