I have a tender coming off my battery with the quick connect. So I just bought this for when I'm riding to keep things in charge.

I found a waterproof "cigarette" type receptacle at Walmart where the trailer stuff is. Has a rubber cap when your not using it and mounts sideways so easy to find a spot for it with no fancy hole to cut.
I'd rather have this type of plug as there are other useful things that use it instead of a straight USB ....like GPS's and mini compressors for filling up tires. I put mine where one of the helmet locks were.

Or you can get one of these and have both:

Now that you have received some free information and assistance could you please give us an bit of information about yourself under the Newbie Introduction heading. Nothing needed too extensive just a bit about your riding/wrenching experience and possible location. We like to know a little bit about the people that are involved here and a little bacckground lets us know about your expertise and what we can request your help with. Thanks and welcome.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"
**Really not sure if the Big "C" is back right now
but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.
