Possibly looking for a Gas Tank

Hey all, wow its been a while....

I'm may be looking for a clean gas tank for a project.

No rust inside or out, dents, holes, etc.. I don't care about the paint going to sand it down anyway. I don't need the gas cap either.

Let me know

Thanks

I have one but it's only got 3 of the 4. No rust, no holes, and no cap. Screaming dent on the left side though. Right side is mint!

Long, and kinda deep, more like a 10" crease than a dent. Picture angle iron trailer frame, bike falling over on trailer. Rode it 2-3 years like that, leg kinda covers it, always parked with the good side out.

Have pics if you think you might be interested. Looked at it the other day, dusty, but still no rust ever, shines like glass inside. Has the emblems for 2003, but no petcock, cap, or fuel sender. Metallic maroon/gray.

Shipping should be close to $24.

Bought the bike wrecked, so it had to have a DMV inspection before titling. Loading it on the trailer for DMV trip, new Harbor Fright strap broke and down she went. Do not trust the orange straps!

Inspector didn't even look at the bike except the before pics, never left his desk.

Found a factory new '06 tank on ebay, talked them down to $250. That was the 2nd new tank I'd seen on there. Other one was close to $400.

Funny how that crease isn't as deep as I remembered it.
