Very interesting that the first two machines are so close in total mileage. I also did not recognize the model name they used, Commander, and when I looked that name up on a listing of all Victory model names it did not show. Maybe the list is wrong or who knows what is going on. I do agree that there are some real interesting deals at auctions and even salvage yards but the lack of real past information on the care of a bike must be overcome by solid mechanical knowledge when checking the bike first. I know a friend that has purchased several smaller bikes used for rider training classes and rebuilt them into cafe racer style machines that he sold for an easy grand profit each after all expenses. He has done it at least ten times now. If anyone tries one of these flips I wish them good luck. It could be a fun run.

Good thing about the police bikes, they get serviced. The mileage is probably two cops riding together, like the CHiPS boys.
A long distance deal is a bit harder, but if one happens to be local, they let you come on site and inspect the vehicles. I bought the SUV from 4 hours away, but I knew what I was buying. Got no service records, but it's easy to see it was well maintained. Already completed a couple of repairs, but it's still a one owner, low mileage, cream puff. Still think I should've bought a pickup, but I was tired of looking and I have a trailer. Found out the mystery toggle switch is for the strobes on all four corners, should be fun.
Bad thing about owning a Victory now, parts are probably about to be really scarce. A running Victory may be a high dollar item in 20 years.
If I hadn't just bought that SUV .... I missed two Harley Ultras, around 2007 models, about $3100 each. A 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 for $1750.
Watching a 30' x 100' metal building, still in the boxes.
