Saw your other posts and figured this isn't what you're looking for. But just in case ....

I have a clean 2003 tank, clean inside, never any rust, good paint, burgundy and gray metallic ... long, deep, crease on the left side. No cap, petcock, or fuel gauge sender. Shipping on a tank was $24 when I bought my new one 2 years ago.

New tanks on ebay are normally around $400, I caught mine for $200-something. New, factory sealed, never on a bike, but they don't show up very often.

The rust doesnít bother that much. I can clean and seal it. Itís the dings and dents that bother me. She was a clean looking bike until the tank was dented. Thanks for the quick response though.

What's your time frame for getting a good tank? If you wait long enough, one will pop up. Not sure what's near you, or how badly dented the tank is, but there are folks out there who can take the dents out. Or you can do it yourself:

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Thank you. I will keep my open. I did try the hot glue trick and I also tried heating it up and pouring cold water on it. No luck so far.

I just got done Bondoing mine up, a lot of dents. If youíve got the patience itíll turn out good. Strip, bondo, prime, paint and hit it with spraymax 2k clear coat and youíll be in business. Prob only looking at like 80$ in material max.
