Another Good Twistie Found...

Well made the lil trip up to E. Tn., E. Ky. & Western Va. last week and had some good riding, not as much as I would like, but put about 750 mi. on the bike... I had got on my Delorme Topo maps and found some off beat 2-lane smaller roads to get from here to there on... Goin up I rode about 1/2 the devil's triangle, but got off at the river x-ing bridge and made the ride up and across the mountain to Carryville Tn. ... I don't think I will do that the next visit, that lil single lane road especially on the down side going to Carryville is rough with spots of gravel and torn up pavement, just have to be too slow & cautious to enjoy... Then made the run to Harlan Ky. & back via the smaller state routes... Also one road (my secret for now ) I found turned out to be a blast, very good 2-laner that had twisties that were as good if not better than the Dragon, and very, very low traffic... It was within 20 mi. of my buddies home and he didn't know even about it, he said he liked it better than the Dragon and would be riding it... It is only about 60-70 mi. of really good riding now, but a state bridge was out that knocked off a good bit of my plan there......
I will give a hint though, it is in one of the poorest counties in Tn., but, one of the prettiest with its mixed pasture lands, forrests, hills & rivers... The cycle rider gangs have not found it yet, I don't even think the yankees have found it yet either, whopeee, I'm going back, especially after that bridge is repaired...
Didn't make it to Hazard or Pikeville Ky. & the Tugg river as planned, maybe next time...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

The Hazard OD is talking about is actually in Perry county Ky,about two or three counties over from me.But......we do have our share of Uncle Jesse's and Quite a few young ladies that look every bit as good as Daisy in our neck of the woods.Just why do yo think we ride around out in the country side all the time anyway? There's a lot more to look at than trees and hills ,country girls live in the country and are fairly easy on the eyes.

^ LOL!! I mean c'mon, the woman single handedly put cut off jeans on the map. She made them appropriate attire for any woman between the ages of 17 and 35 for any outside occasion from May to September across the entire United States. She should be given The Nobel Peace Prize! LOL!!!

I was working as an electrician in West Palm Beach Florida several years ago. There was a southern bell by the name of Scarlett Eva Rainald from Baton Rouge staying in the same hotel. She had the draw and the attitude - the whole package. She was a personal trainer for cryin' out loud. Oh Emm Geeeeee, do I miss that girl. Whew! Natural blonde hair, big ol' curls, she was amazing.

/\ I lived longer than that in the 30s...lol... BTW-There's also a Clinton, Tn. ... You might want to check out some history on it, in the late 50s during the racial tensions... They blew up the HS, the NG, FBI and all came in and the FBI determined that it was a professional job... All right, good goin, that eliminates about 25% of the women & none of the men, now lets look at the other 75% and all the men in this coal mining community...lol...
So I'll bet these days if you really looked around there are multiple same name places, cities & counties... Wonder if that is one reason we now have zip codes...lol...
I saw on Nashville (Tn.) TV a gun shop commercial and was interested since Nashville is only about 80-90 mi. North of me... This gun shop was in Greenbriar so I get on the map and low & behold there are 3 Greenbriars located near Nashville... Need I say I didn't ride up...lol...
